THE THREE GLORIES OF AQUILA SCANNO

The Glories of Scanno are three:

On the evening of January 16, in the open space adjacent to the Church of Saint Anthony Abbot, a bonfire is lit, while in the morning of the feast, after the mass, is placed on the fire lit a cauldron where are cooked sagne ricotta offered by a family wealthy country, after the blessing by the officiating priest of the food that is offered to the faithful gathered for the event.
