Carlo Lizzani was a director, screenwriter, actor and film producer Italian, was born in Rome, April 3, 1922 and died October 5, 2013.
Was partisan and participated in the Roman Resistance, then joined the Italian Communist Party.

On October 5, 2013, took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Via dei Gracchi in Rome.
