David Jon Gilmour is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and record producer British.

From 1968 to 1995 he was the guitarist and singer of the historic British group Pink Floyd.

Gilmour is best known for his work as guitarist. His style in the guitar solo is characterized by a musical influenced by the blues, by the presence of numerous bending (bending of sound) and sustain.
