COMES IN TUSCANY THE WAY OF THE CRIBS: 70 KM BETWEEN FLORENCE AND PISA

A crib of over 50 square meters, another all technological and one in which the audience itself can become a character.

Are the Nativity scenes set up in the valley of the Arno and Elsa, between the province of Florence and Pisa, now combined into a single route, 70 km long, called 'Land of cribs', open from December 1 to January 11 2015.

The initiative was promoted by parishes and crèche, sponsored by its diocese and in cooperation with the local authorities and are expected, it said in a statement, 100 thousand visitors.

The route winds through Castelfiorentino, which proposes the way of Cribs with over fifty performances in the historic center and a majestic crib of 50 square meters and Cigoli, which in its historical church houses one of the cribs technological largest in Italy.

Then there is the parish dè Bassi all'Isolotto in Florence or Lecore, Signa, who made a crib made with cardboard boxes, yet Montignoso that tells the whole life of Jesus. At Montopoli Val d'Arno there are cribs made with waste material while in Nicosia of Calci plaster and painted and worked Petroio (Fi) is open and fully mechanized.

San Miniato offers the crib on a human scale where the visitor becomes in turn a character, the advent calendar on the facade of the Seminary and two miles of cribs located along the historic center. 

In San Miniato Basso live Nativity scene is made more than two hundred while appearing in San Romano, the visitor can also enter inside. Usigliano Lari finally proposes the Museum of the Nativity.
